Our Doctors & Staff

Belinda Barclay-White, MD
Founder

Belinda Barclay-White

is a board-certified radiologist who specializes in breast imaging. She attended Kings College, London University and Westminster Medical School. She immigrated to Phoenix in 1976 and completed a diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.

In 1998, she opened Arizona

Breastnet

; a full service diagnostic breast center.

Breastnet

offers same day evaluation of breast related problems with mammography, ultrasound, and needle biopsy if indicated.

Finding a lump in the breast is one of the scariest things a woman can experience. It is essential to diagnose a breast problem as quickly as possible so as to maximize treatment effectiveness as well as minimize emotional stress. With current technology, it is possible to diagnose smaller breast cancers, therefore a woman diagnosed today has many more treatment choices available to her.

Dr.

Barclay-White

is a co-founder of the Arizona Institute of Breast Health, whose mission is to inform women and their families about treatment options. Education is empowering. Armed with knowledge, women can seek and find optimal medical care for their cancer, resulting in significantly improved treatment outcomes and quality of life.

Diane, RT(R)(M)(BS)
Clinical Coordinator
Diane was born and raised in the Dubuque, Iowa and is a graduate of St. Francis School of Radiologic Technology, Evanston, IL. She began working in the field of Radiology in 1972, taking time off to raise three sons. Having lost her mother-in-law at age 53 and an aunt at the age of 42, the early detection of breast cancer is a very personal mission. Upon returning to work in 1984, mammography became a passion.

Diane accepted a full time position as a Practice Manager for a large Internal Medicine/Cardiology practice near Chicago in 1990. Being in practice management was a wonderful opportunity, but upon an "empty nest" move by Diane and husband, Frank, to Scottsdale in 2000, becoming involved in the field of Breast Imaging was the choice she made.

Her goal is to provide our physicians with all of the information needed and at the same time ensuring the patient's comfort during this most personal exam. Being a part of the Healthcare Team at Breastnet since 2002 has been one of the most rewarding decisions of Diane's career.

Diane is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in mammography and radiography. She is also certified in the state of Arizona by the Medical Radiological Technology Board of Examiners in mammography and radiology. Diane also completed the requirements as a Certified MammaCare Clinical Breast Examiner. MammaCare is the recognized standard for teaching and performing clinical breast examinations in breast cancer screening clinics.
