So my husband proudly showed me an article from Golf magazine May 2010 entitled, "Why are Your Dogs Barking after Riding 18 in a cart?"
(I nag him about his definition of exercise all the time!) In summary, the article claims for a 7,000 yard course,
the pedometer logged 16000 steps or 8 miles when walking and 13,000 steps or 6 1/2 miles when riding in a cart.
This sounds just too good to be true! I know some very overweight and avid golfers!
I do not golf so I need some help here! I know many of you are golfers and I would be very grateful for any feedback.
If you happen to find yourself on a golf course with a pedometer, either in a cart (path only), in a cart, or walking, I would love some feedback.
If this is true, I may have to take up golf!
