As we move forward in the new year, I wanted to take a moment and express my sincere thanks to my fellow physicians for your support and
referrals this past year.
All of us at Breastnet focus on making our patients' experience with us positive, comfortable and reassuring. With all that is happening in the
healthcare arena today, we feel very fortunate that we are still able to offer the service that we so deeply care about providing.
2009 continued to be a year of change and growth for Breastnet. To name just a few:
We began offering screening UltraSounds, using the new FDA approved screening ultrasound method, SonoCine. The SonoCine Method
provides an additional examination, which finds small cancers that mammography may miss. It is not a replacement
for screening mammography, but an additional exam for women with "dense" breasts. Many of our patients took advantage of
this new exam and have told us the extra peace of mind made it all worth it!
We also have been personalizing our patient files with their photos as it is always nice to put a face to a name,
should you call us about one of your patients for any reason.
We are very pleased that we are able to continue accepting new Medicare patients.
We continue to provide immediate results to all of our patients at the time of their appointment. If additional work-ups are necessary,
such as special views or ultrasound, they will be performed during the same visit, eliminating the need for multiple appointments.
As a reminder, Breastnet is a comprehensive breast care facility, which offers complete screening and diagnostic breast care
including digital mammography with CAD, breast ultrasound, ultrasound and stereotactic guided core needle biopsies,
pre-surgical needle localization, ductograms, and sentinel lymph node injections. We also provide second opinions for breast-related issues.
New Years is a time when we reflect how grateful we are for family and friends. The Breastnet concept has been supported by our patients and fellow physicians for 11 years
and we will continue to offer unparalleled, quality service in this period of struggling times.
All of us at Arizona Breastnet would like to wish you a happy and healthy 2010!
Sincerely,
Dr. Belinda Barclay-White, Dr. Karen Baker and
the entire Breastnet Staff www.AZBreastnet.com
