Greetings [$fname],
During your visits to Breastnet, you may have seen
information about a wonderful organization called the
Arizona Institute for Breast Health,
www.AIBH.org.
AIBH, a local non-profit organization founded by Dr. Coral Quiet
and myself, was created to give women the opportunity to receive information and education
about the best possible treatment for breast cancer. The Institute
offers a woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer a second opinion,
completely free of charge, and addresses all
of the issues involved with the disease - from prevention and education to
specific treatment options.
Our volunteer team of physicians and medical professionals
are breast health experts whose specialties include breast
radiology, breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology,
reconstructive surgery, and breast pathology. This team evaluates
the best medical and surgical options for the preservation of a
woman's life, body and emotional well-being, in a caring,
expedient and objective manner. Well informed women are better able to make
treatment choices and armed with this knowledge, can select their medical team wisely.
Because AIBH is supported entirely by donations, I wanted
to take a moment to tell you about a special fundraiser
that is going on now through October 31st.

You may remember hearing about
The Pink Light District initiative that took place last year at this time.
This fundraiser provides people nationwide the opportunity to sponsor pink light bulbs for $20 each in
recognition of those touched by breast cancer.
These light bulbs will be placed on the Canal Bridge,
which links the Scottsdale Waterfront to the SouthBridge
District in downtown Scottsdale and will be illuminated
on October 3rd at the VIP Lighting Ceremony,
The Pink Light District. These Pink Honor
Lights will glow throughout October in recognition of
Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Pink Honor Lights may be given to anyone touched by breast cancer:
 |
 |
 |
 |
In honor of a brave survivor |
 |
 |
 |
 |
In memory of a loved one
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
To recognize that special person in your doctor's office
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
As a special thank you to a supporter...a friend, husband, brother, sister, parent, child,
co-worker...anyone who has made a difference in the life of someone touched by breast cancer!
|
All supporters who donate $500 or more will receive an invitation to
the VIP Lighting Ceremony. For every Pink Honor Light you sponsor,
a special Tribute Card will be
immediately emailed to the Honoree on your behalf.
All gifts are 100% tax deductible and you will receive a donation
receipt for your records. All donors will also be recognized on the
AIBH website in the Pink Light District Honor Album. It is easy to
sponsor a Pink Honor Light - just go to
www.ThePinkLightDistrict.org.
Thank you for your time and support!
Best regards,
Belinda Barclay-White, MD
