You may have seen the article last week in the Arizona Republic that discussed whether it is necessary to do Breast Self-Exams. I want
to take a moment to let you know that even though some studies may say that Breast Self-Exams aren't worth the time or trouble, I must tell you that
many of my patients who have had breast cancer discovered a lump at a very early stage through self-examination.
Knowing our bodies and how our breasts feel through self-examination on a consistent basis provides the best opportunity to discover a change when it occurs.
If we don't do these exams monthly, we may miss a change and the chance to find something, should it present itself. If you are interested in reading the
