Did you know that we contract with Medicare at Arizona Breastnet
and encourage referrals?
We know that many facilities in the Valley are no longer taking new
Medicare patients and it is becoming a problem for this age group. From
working so closely with our Medicare Patients, we understand their needs,
their concerns and their expectations.
When a Medicare patient calls Breastnet for an appointment, we ask that she bring an
order from her physician for a screening or diagnostic mammogram when she comes for her
exam, so we are aware of any issues she may be having and can then send a report back to you.
Should we find something on the diagnositc digital mammogram that is of concern, we will do a
complete workup at the time of her mammogram so she doesn't have to worry or wait for the results.
We also encourage Breast Cancer Survivors to visit Breastnet, as we understand they are always
anxious about having a mammogram. Our physicians meet with each survivor to review the results
so they don't feel the stress of waiting for the mail to arrive or the phone call to come with
results, sometimes, weeks later.
If you have a Medicare patient that needs a mammogram, they will be in good hands at Breastnet.
